Disrespectful front desk lady
I pre paid for booking earlier in the day on my app. Showed up to Motel at 7:30pm. Office was closed so I called the phone line. The lady who answered was immediately triggered before I got to even say hello. She claimed my phone must not work, “I tried calling you earlier.” She clearly didn’t call the right number as I found out later in the night. She complained about this for several minutes. You’d think you’d just email with check in instructions since that was on file? She wouldn’t let me park on site under a well lit area as I had a small open U-Haul trailer with several boxed parts and motorcycle. Didn’t even let me finish asking nicely. “MOVE YOUR TRUCK NOW” She literally stood outside to watch that it got moved right away as I told her I needed some time to unpack my cargo first. She demanded I park across the street in a dark field. The real parking lot literally had 3 vehicles but she claimed it was illegal. I said I’d park out of the way on the side. I took pictures to prove how pathetic this parking situation was. I was in the lobby looking at brochures and she literally told me I need to leave the area right now. It’s just a common area with travelling brochures.
This lady made me feel so uncomfortable. Still shocked someone in hospitality actually acted that way. I’ll be talking to the manager, assuming that wasn’t her working at check in.
