Walk of shame
I have never done the walk of shame until this morning walking out of MOTEL I did nothing but try to sleep in. I booked this room based on a "very good" rating from hotels.com and pure exhaustion. It was less than a mile from the hospital, which was nice. I just wanted to sleep in the "nonsmoking" room before driving 3 hours back home. The room smelled so strongly of weed and cigars my eyes watered all night and I ended up with a migraine. I did not realize this was an adults only establishment until the glass window wall of the shower invited me to the red light district. The greasy handprints on the "fireplace", the mirror behind the bed, and the star-lit ceiling were my next clues. Wish I had known BEFORE my 2 brothers waited with me while I checked in before they drove home. The lights could not be turned off and there was a whirring sound all night like the bed was trying to do a vegas-style vibration or rotation. The final straw was receiving my $60 deposit back IN ALL ONES. If this is what youre looking for, they've got it, but I sure wish I had known before I booked...bc i certainly wouldn't have.
