My wife and I are long-time guests of your properties, and our experience at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Magee, Mississippi, has always been nothing short of excellent. Every time we return to Magee, we are consistently impressed by the professionalism, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. That location sets the standard for what Holiday Inn should be.
However, I regret to inform you that our most recent stay at the Holiday Inn International off Harborside Drive (5002 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77551) was the worst we have ever had with your brand.
From the moment we checked in, it was clear that this property did not meet the IHG standard. The customer service was lacking, the condition of the facility was disappointing, and our overall experience left us feeling frustrated and frankly, disrespected as loyal guests.
We booked this stay through Hotels.com, and we expected a seamless, professional experience from both Holiday Inn and the booking platform. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
We are requesting that someone from IHG contact us directly to discuss and resolve this matter. If no action is taken, we will be forced to consider alternative hotel brands going forward.
