I had to cancel my stay 5 days in advance because I was in the Hospital with Pneumonia. I was told the room was non refundable, which was fine when I reserved it, but I didn't know I was going to be in the hospital, and unable to make my concert and stay at the hotel. Under the circumstances I asked to get a refund or voucher. The lady at the desk was going to ask the owner and call me back. Never heard a thing. I called again. She heard my sick voice on the phone. 2 weeks and I am still not over my pneumonia. I was able to get a voucher for the concert tickets, and I stayed at the hotel last summer. I'm on disability, so not refunding the $75.00 is really not nice. I would have booked again at econo Lodge if they would have done that. Frustrated, Marlene Meinhard
