We were on the first floor, our car was in handicap spot right under our window. That was good. Room very small, felt constricted. Has a King size bed, could walk around it, bathroom very small. Tv - so so channels. It was adequate.
I have an ongoing issue with Country Inn and Suites. I used one credit card to hold the room, when I arrived at the hotel I used that card to complete the purchase. Citicard! Some how, some way, they charged the other credit card that was in my wallet. I didn’t notice it at first. I went on to the room, and got a notice from the bank that my other card had gotten a charge over the limit I set. I went back to the desk. The clerk had said “we don’t accept third party bookings”!
I said I went through Hotels.com and if you don’t accept it, why is it on there and why did I have a reservation number?
“ I don’t know but that’s the way we work here”
Ok, I don’t know how you charged a card that I didn’t present, but I want that canceled and charge my Citi card. Ok
While I was standing there, with my husband, another charge came over alert, that an amount of $224.24 was charged to my card, that I wanted NOT USED! Right there in front of the guy! I presented my phone alert to him an said WHAT IS THIS?
He said “ I dunno”!!
It was also from Country Inn and Suites.
He said nothing I can do ma’am!
Ok I went to my room and called my bank, for fraud. Being as I paid for the room with my Citicard.
So there should be NO CHARGES ON MY WELLS Fargo card at all.
