Good location just out of town. Receptionist was really lovely and even upgraded me to a larger room. The building is a little run down and the continental breakfast was lacking healthy options. Only toast and very sweet cereals. My suggestion to the owner would be to include a sugar free muesli and perhaps some yoghurt and fruit. The bed was comfortable and there's parking out the back.

Accommodation easy to find on the outskirts of Mansfield. Only 10 to 15 minute walk to access food outlets. The property itself was well looked after with plenty of parking at the rear. The free continental breakfast was a nice touch. The room itself was more than adequate.

BEWARE - Breakfast not included, despite the listing saying it is!!!! Plus points - easy to find. Good parking. Negative points - Tired hotel, neither the bedroom nor bathroom would close, due to wear and tear! Door wouldn’t double lock. Listing states price includes breakfast but it doesn’t according to the staff, so had to pay an extra £12 - this was NOT a £100 a night hotel!

It's a budget hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was OK and the bar was fine. I'd certainly stay again. It's a handy location with parking.

We have been visiting here for approximately two years. It is a delight to see a hard working family trying to improve bit by bit to make this into an excellent B&B / Hotel. Yes it is tired in parts, but always clean. Every time we visit we see improvements in decor and the facilities. It is clean, friendly and in a great location, i.e. close to a garage, pub, shop and tourist attractions. As long as the price stays right, we will continue to visit. Thank you and keep up the hard work.

2/10 Mala

I don't know where to start. Bedrooms absolutely disgusting, blood all over the mattress, snott on the walls, what looked like bed bugs all over the floor and mould everywhere. Asked for a room change and was practically thrown out of the hotel. Promised hotel.com would refund. When I got it touch with you I was told they had refused the refund and I'd get 25 back from 2 rooms. I will be taking this further.

I liked the food and the staff were friendly but I was disappointed that there were no Downstairs rooms as I struggled with stairs but the staff helped me by carrying my case upstairs x

Reception not manned on arrival, did not realise that door card and check in card was left on table for self service. Basic hotel with English Breakfast /Toast/Yoghurt included in the price. Large car park. Ideal location to attend a party in Mansfield. Not planned to use the restaurant but believe it was closed during our stay. Bar also looked closed but think we were told it was available if required. I would stay again if I needed to stay overnight in the area.

We had an impromptu trip here on a soccer Saturday weekend. It’s not somewhere we would have normally chosen to stay and the decor was somewhat quirky. However the staff are extremely hard working and we all had a fun weekend at a reasonable cost
