Booked a night, paid with a hotels. com gift card, wasn't going to make it in time for check in, called before check in ended, I briefly explained my problem, the woman on the phone OFFERED to change my reservation to the following day, I gladly accepted. Attempted to check in the following day, no reservation showing, explained to Brandy at the front desk, she was kind enough to call the lying woman who I spoke to the night before, on speaker phone she admitted to saying she would switch the reservation but forgot to actually do it, Brandy asked her to walk her through how to do this, when getting to the payment section, Brandy alerted the woman on the phone and myself that because it was a third party payment, there was no way to adjust the check in date, Brandy said there was nothing she could do, so I said so I'm out $ She' said yes and apologized, I calmly left although i was livid but I'm not that jerk that's going to rage on an employee when there is nothing could do. I sat in my car for over an hour chatting with hotels.com and was able to get most of my money back, so... Great... Right? No no no, because the hotels.com rep spoke with Brandy who told her that the woman I had spoke with informed me I would be charged a no show fee and the reservation couldn't be changed, well that's interesting because then WHY IN FT DID SHE ADMIT TO BRANDY HER COWORKER OVER THE PHONE AND ON SPEAKER PHONE THAT SHE DID ASK ME IF I WANTED TO CHANGE MY RESERVATION AND ADMITTED
