No way to get help
So much is good about this place, but there is no recourse for the problems. I booked a room for myself and my 2 kids. It took a LOT to convince my son that the hotel amenities made up for sleeping on a sofa bed rather than a real bed. But it's not a sofa bed: it's just a sofa. I called support, who said there were no other rooms but someone would contact me about a discount. No one has.
The next day, my daughter and I went to the pool. It's gorgeous! Easily the nicest one on our trip. But when we tried to leave, it turned out the hotel had turned off our code, even though it was not our checkout time yet. We called support. Spent 20 minutes trying different codes, none of which worked. They ultimately said they would tell the housekeeping company (who were currently on-site) to come let us in. No one ever came. Eventually we called support again, and THAT person gave us a code that worked. Meanwhile we had been standing around wet in our suits so long that I missed a work meeting.
It's a great location, but I would very much hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Has private equity vibes.
