Had great time nice comfy beds super friendly staff and hotel is super dog friendly,had biscuits for our dogs and are allowed everywhere in hotel so very helpful when at breakfast we can have dogs with us. Breakfast was good it help your self buffet with cooked and continental on offer. If your looking for a dog friendly hotel this is definitely 👌 plus if you have a motor home they have bays for you to park in.

Good breakfast and food menu selection. We stayed in a deluxe double. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved sitting on the veranda for our evening meal looking out onto the countryside watching the evening sunset

Rooms were very nice and comfortable, a few places could do with a touch up and the shower curtain could do with a wash to have a fresher smell, other than that the room was perfect. Hotel location was brilliant and the Restaurant was very pleasant with good food and on Fri/Saturday a piano player and singer makes for a lovely atmosphere whilst dining. Breakfast was pretty good too, I would just add a yoghurt option and swap out the tin plum tomatoes for fresh halved tomatoes. Reception staff when we arrived were very pleasant, and Simone who waited on us in the Restaurant was pleasant with a great sense of humour. Overall I would recommend Stone Trough Hotel and give it 8.5/10

Stayed for 2 nights. Good location for Pendle and surrounding area. Good parking. Good for the price, rooms a little tired in places but all acceptable. Very comfy bed and excellent power shower. Clean and tidy hotel. Breakfast average, but good for the price. Overall I would recommend and would stay again. Also note..They offer camper van parking pitches too, with brekkie included. Noted for future reference as we have a campervan.

Booked a night at The Stone Trough for our Wedding Anniversary. It was a little overwhelming. I wanted to give it 3.5 but there wasn't an option and 3 is too low. The main shared areas of the hotel are pleasant and our evening meal was delicious with fantastic staff. However our room was tired, with wall paper coming away from the ceiling. There were some cobwebs, a small recent stain on the bed throw and dusty skirting boards. Just little things that a should be noticed and kept on top of by cleaning staff. The bathroom was clean but the shower kept oscillating between scalding hot and freezing cold, a maintenance issue. Also,my mistake but the photos make the hotel look as if it's in a small village on a quiet road, but in fact, it's on a main road and not in a quaint village. I think the motorhome stopover is a brilliant feature and worth every penny. There are nice gardens and places to sit out the back. It was fine for one night but glad we didn't pay for two.

A lovely find, we travelled from London, the staff went above and beyond to assist us. We was attending a funeral and Paula was so helpful. Such a quaint place to stay with beautiful views and we made friends with the cats, especially Pearl. I highly recommend this place to stay. Great value for money, with breakfast included. I would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. I checked into the hotel on Monday on my own, but unfortunately left after around an hour because the room was not up to an acceptable standard. The room felt very dated and grubby, and when I raised my concerns, I was moved to another room. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. The bath had visible streaks and grime, there were strange stains on the bedding, and overall the room felt unclean and tired. Being there on my own, I didn’t feel comfortable staying, so I decided to leave. The hotel did take the full payment of £81, despite me only being there for around an hour, and I am still waiting for my refund. I appreciate that older décor can be overlooked when a room is clean and well maintained, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case here. The cleanliness was the main issue and really affected my experience. I hope the refund is processed promptly and that the hotel takes the feedback seriously and addresses the cleanliness and maintenance issues.
