Disappointed with our welcoming. Our flight had been delayed and we arrived later than expected. We were starving. The front desk lady barely gave us a welcoming and we had just flown from across the country, first time in Nashville! Upon check in, we asked what restaurants were open because we needed to eat and she said the bar below is open and they had light bites up at the pool deck. So before putting our luggage away, we went to the bar to quickly get something to eat and was told from the bartender that it had already been last call even though there was 15 minutes left and we weren't going to be able to eat anything. It was frustrating, but we decided just to see what we could get at the pool only to find out that that too was closed. The manager did end up calling up to the room and offered to make us a salad, but we needed something a little bit more hearty and ended up door dashing some food to tide us over till the next day. The room was fine, low water pressure in the shower and thin towels. We didn't have much of a view although I had requested one. Location was OK right behind the Gulch which was nice but a bit of a walk to Broadway but short uber ride. The entrance was very confusing. The best part of this hotel was the pool, which we had drinks at the following day and it had a great city view. I wouldn't go back.
