Positives were the decor, cleanliness, safety and location which is walkable to Jonker. Some good food in the area. However, I expected more for this price which is among top 3 more expensive in Meleka. Staff are polite but I expected 4-5 star hospitality. Walls are thin so you can hear other guests. It's acceptable but not worth it for the high price IMO.

The hotel is nice and the staff kind -though the breakfast was bad attended-, but it's settled in a bad location. Although it's only 10-minutes walking to the center of Melaka, the surroundings are ugly and there is a lot of traffic in the street where you must walk.

Overpriced

It is overpriced given that there are now plenty other hotels provide similar facilities and experience. Swimming pool is tiny and the spa is still closed at present. Although it is part of the small luxury hotels branding and part of YTL holdings, it could have been cheaper. Stayed there several times over the past 10 years. There were welcome drinks and complementary cakes on previous stays but not this time. The TV hasnt been updated for over 10 years. Lovely and pleasant staff, nice buffet breakfast on the weekend, RM58 for non-resident. Note that it is ala carte during weekdays.

Dissapointing

I was welcomed nicely and, there was no valet but I was showed a parking space. Check in was easy and was asked if i wanted my welcome drink or to proceed to room. The colonial building looked lovely but my immediate thoughts were it needs some drastic TLC. Pool was so small and in a wierd position with not much room for guests to sit. No room service or spa was very dissapointing. Covid is a great excuse now! Room was big but the blinds were cheap and one broke as i pulled it down. I would seriously say this hotel was a good 3 star and im not annoyed about anything so not providing a score on that, just very dissapointed.

Imperial hotel in a great city

Lovely hotel. The location could be better for Joncker street and the sights and the only other issue was the water gushing out of the tap on our first morning ( these things happen) Lovely breakfast and afternoon tea.

Overall exceptional, if there's anything to improve it would be the toiletries which were not from a familiar brand and came across as not worthy of the luxurious other parts the facility and room had to offer.

Nice boutique hotel

Love the serenity it provides. The location is great because I get to jog along the river in the morning. The pool is small but oh well….not the biggest concern. I like how the bath tub is. And the design of the room makes it very cosy.

Außergewöhnlich guter Service. Hervorragendes Frühstück in angenhmer Atmosphäre. Melaka mit seiner hübschen Altstadt ist durchaus einen Aufenthalt wert. (Fr-So Nachtmarkt)

Malacca short stay!

Heritage hotel in centre of town and walking distance to restaurants and shopping! Room large and very clean with comfortable bed and mattress. Loved their breakfast! Very good choice of local Asian and Western food prepared by friendly Australian chef. Enjoyed hospitality of staff and good service. Arrived with own rental car and parking available in their hotel security car park !

Nice but bring ear plugs

Nice historical hotel, a few hundred meters from the centre but that's walkable. The staff is very nice and the rooms are well furnished and in good conditions. The pool is a little small and he breakfast area was under works so had breakfast in the business meeting rooms - not as great. The biggest problem is clearly the sound proof in the rooms : we have been waked-up by our neighbor who had a shower at 7am (couldn't sleep even wearing ear plugs). This is a big issue for which I won't consider this hotel as a 5 stars

Beautiful colonial style hotel in a good position. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Restaurant offers superb food- don t miss the city walk organised by the hotel. Worth a visit.

最高に可愛くて快適なホテル

オランダ広場までは徒歩で10分程度。少し離れているので、静かで快適。有名なブルドックカフェも近く、コンビニは意外と品揃えが良くインド人街もうろうろすると楽しい。 スタッフはみな礼儀正しくフレンドリー。特に朝ごはんが最高！！ビュッフェは小規模だが、全てが美味そうだし、オーダーメニューが素晴らしかった。即決してしまうタイプなので、オーダーした後ではではあったが、日本語メニューを持ってきてくれた、心遣いがとてもうれしかった。 スパ目当てで宿泊したが、大正解だった。もちろん、スパも最高でした！
