I booked through Hotels.com for a double king, according to the description and picture. I was looking forward to two king beds. We’ve stayed at an AmericInn in Oklahoma (which is one of our favorite hotels) so we were glad to book with the same chain. Boy were we disappointed. It couldn’t be farther from the other hotel in every way possible. There was no such room as a double king. The beds were horrible, I don’t even think those should be described as actual mattresses. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the breakfast options were lacking. There was no creamer to go with the coffee, almost no milk to go with the minimal options for cereal. The sheets on the bed were low quality, and staff could be more hospitable. They charged me to change to a double queen, then when I complained to hotels.com they refused to refund the extra charges. Save yourself the trouble and book anywhere else but here.
