Stayed here once in early October and was reasonably satisfied. Had a second trip scheduled in late October but my event was cancelled. With 2 weeks advanced notice I requested a refund since this was through no fault of mine. The hotel said they couldn't refund because it was booked through a third party (Expedia). I reached out to Expedia and they said it was the hotel's choice. I requested a call from the owner but never received one. Be very careful when booking that you don't choose the no refund option. I think it's poor business practice. Another hotel I booked through Expedia with the same policy had no problem issuing a refund. I have my own business and I would remind the hotel owner that what goes around comes around. I have two daughters in Stillwater and will be making multiple trips there over the next few years. I won't be staying at Spark.
