I must say, The Marshall House has been one of my top places to stay in all my travels. For one, the staff was always so friendly and accommodated any needs we had. The extra amenities of entertainment at 5:30, happy hour, breakfast and free waters for the day were wonderful. The best part was the fabulous staff!

The lobby area and library were beautiful and had a historic feel. The wine and appetizers each evening in the lobby were wonderful. They had various entertainment each night, from a young woman singing and playing the guitar to a historian talking about Savannah. Breakfast each morning, which was included, was very good and service was also great. Our room was clean, lovely and well-appointed, but smaller than we expected. I think it's because it is a historic hotel. We received a great restaurant recommendation from the women who checked us in. If we return to Savannah, we definitely would love to stay there again!

We loved our stay! Staff was very friendly and the place is cozy. The free breakfast was good and the staff was helpful there as well. My only very small complaint is there were areas in the room that were dusty with cobwebs, and there was not a trash can in the room - only a tiny one in the bathroom. But these of course did not impact our overall stay which was wonderful!

We enjoyed the evening reception and music. We stayed here due to the historical nature and possible ghost sightings. We asked at the front desk and they said that there were some things to look at. On the day we were leaving, we discovered there was a guided audio tour that no one had told us about. Location was great and dinner at restaurant was excellent!
