Do not book. So bad. First room seemed a bit worse for wear upon first glance with a hole in the middle of the top sheet and some worn finishes but figured it would be fine for our one night stay. Then to the bathroom and the toilet is dirty and the seat is totally broken and unusable. The blatant disregard for how the room presented was off-putting. Transferred to a second room which was also dirty and in disrepair (rotting floor, ripped curtain, exposed wiring) and most upsetting, a ground floor patio door lock that was not only broken inside and outside, but did not even have a locking mechanism. Hotel staff did not offer any further options and we did not feel safe or comfortable to stay. We informed Hotels.com and the hotel staff that we would not be staying after less than 30 minutes of being there and resolution with both hotel and booking website was difficult and unsatisfactory. Hotel refused to offer refund and Hotels.com insisted their hands were tied based on hotel’s policy. Each deferred and blamed the other with neither taking responsibility or offering reasonable resolution. Listing is misleading, hotel rooms are unacceptable, and service was frustrating and disappointing.
