A wonderful place tucked into the woods near Mount Rainier and Crystal Mountain. The Cabin had just about every amenity you could ask for. The decor was very tasteful and the beds were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and courteous and will definitely return in the future.

I want to acknowledge the staff and management of Loge Alta Crystal, who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Due to our expectations of what was advertised, we felt initially that the accommodations didn’t align. Long story short we got a great room and we felt taken care of and we would want to come back and stay again. It was a 5 star experience. Thank you!

The property is set back off the road so its nice and quiet. It's only 10min from Crystal mountain. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice and cozy place in the forest. The pool and SPA were great, after hiking in the mountains. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing i missed was dishcloth and kitchen towels. Everything else was perfect!

If I you're quibbling, there's no restaurant and very little in the way of food for sale, but really, it's a nice place, nestled in the lovely woods so *very* convenient to Mt Rainier, which was, of course, the point of my visit. And there's a very good restaurant about eight (?) miles away at Crystal Mountain, if that's important. Staff friendly and helpful. Wi-fi fine, cable TV, if you want it. Very nice, clean room. I guess they have a pool, but I never tried it out. Good place that I would gladly return to.

Property needs updating and several items not working in the room: both tvs not working, toaster not working, screen from balcony door laying on the balcony, ice machine not working. If you need this location on the way to crystal mountain and national park east entrance, it is a great location.

This place has so much potential! Overall, cleanliness was decent. Im a former housekeeper though so I pay attention and notice the small details and it could definitely have been better. Also would have been nice if the deck was sweeped off. There were large spider webs everywhere so we didnt even want to sit on it. Also probably wouldn't have booked if I knew there wasnt AC. Each night it was 79 degrees in our room and we slept so bad, and to make it worse you can't open the windows because there are no screens. The pool/hot tub/sauna was a great area though! Id consider revisiting. Check in was super easy, and the key pad on the door was very convenient.

This lodge was even better than expected. It was everything you wanted to be when you’re on an outdoor adventure trip especially near the national park and it was not far from everything we wanted to get to and the experience was just great. The staff went above and beyond for me and my elderly mother and I appreciate them so much. They helped me to get an appropriate room to help her mobility and I was not even asking for that and I appreciate all their help. We will definitely be staying here every time we come in this area and we’ll be bringing our family back as well. One of the best days I’ve had in a long time with beautiful views and just an overall great experience. . Needs a deep clean! The sofa was so dirty we could not sit on it without covering it with a sheet. The pots were so old and beat up that cooking was inefficient and with there being almost zero restaurants around you need a good kitchen with good pots pans cutlery not the case here. The pool and hot tub had so much debris from disintegrating pool bubble cover also black dog hair in big clumps yuck. This place has so much potential the size and layout of the room was fantastic but it was all just too dirty to really enjoy. The staff was great ! Only redeeming factor

We needed a place as a departure point for day trips to the Sunrise area at Mount Rainier, and Alta Crystal fit our needs perfectly. We have no complaints about our stay; the only thing I down-graded in the review is the property maintenance overall: in the room, there was a broken window mechanism in the bedroom, pots/pans in the kitchen were very worn out, there was a frayed, dirty easy chair in the sitting area. None of these things were that much of a problem for us, but when booking you should know you're paying for the convenience upgrade over camping in the area and there just aren't many competing options. You will have limited nearby grocery options without going all the way to Enumclaw; make your plan about what you need for the kitchen and bring it with you.
