The check in clerks leave much to be desired. The first lady we dealt with was polite but the clerk on our leave day didn't say a word. I came down stairs to grab a cart and the fridge door that contains milk was open. I walked passed the guy sitting in the dining room to close it and walked out. He never looked up from his phone. He sat there with a full bag of garbage and never even looked up from his phone. When we left a few hours later, I handed him our room keys and he still not a word. Not a simple "Have a nice day" or even a "Thank you for staying with us." Not a word. I don't need a whole conversation but simple politeness goes a long way.
The breakfast was actually very nice. Bacon or sausage (they rotate days), eggs, fresh hashbrowns, and biscuits. Cereal choices. Yogurts and pastries. Fresh juice is also available. Pretty impressed with the breakfast. Oh and they have a waffle maker as well lol. The little older lady that was working the breakfast area was sweet, kept the area very clean, and kept fresh food out. Definitely always keep her around and make sure she gets a raise.
Cleanliness definitely needs more attention. The carpet was nasty. I usually always keep socks on or some kind of slip on shoes. I forgot both when I went to shower. The carpet felt kind of greasy and matted and just gross.
Over all, even tho the breakfast made up for A LOT, don't think we'll be back. We had a 2 night, 3 day stay and I wish I'd picked somewhere else.
