I didn't even make it because I was forced off the road due to a snowstorm. I had to check in to another hotel last minute. I called Hampton and made them aware of the situation and told them I couldn't make it. I contacted hotels.com in regard to getting a partial refund from them, since it was an "act of god" and I was genuinely trying to uphold my reservation. The Hampton refused to budge on their cancellation policy, even though the WHOLE AREA(meaning up to 3 hours away)was affected by the storm. I ended up paying $156 for a room I never stayed in. Unacceptable and disappointing. I have stayed there a few times in the past but will never again. I feel like exceptions could be made.
