We booked because we were in town for a close relatives funeral. ( We also understood there wasn’t a refund) However, after arriving, and calling relatives, we discovered where we were staying wasn’t close to them. So, my husband and I left and stayed in a hotel at another location to be close to family. I called the Fairfield guy and explained we were leaving Fairfield and would not be staying for the 2 nights afterall. So we ended up paying for 2 different lodgings that night. (Very expensive trip) again, I understand I agreed when online booking to a no refund policy, however, after hearing our circumstances and due to a funeral, I was hoping out of the kindness of his heart, we could of at least got a partial payment back from Fairfield. But again, it was entirely might fault for booking in an area that I was completely unfamiliar with. On a closing note, the Fairfield Place was really nice and the guy was pleasant. Just hard on a person paying for 2 nights in a room we didn’t actually stay in 😢
