We stayed here for one night before a flight. Kevin, who manages the property, was so kind and helpful and friendly. Honestly, he truly made the stay. It's fun to cross the river on the boat and it's beautiful! That said, the property is very old and kind of run down. The "bar" is a fridge with sodas and bottled beers. The game room is old, but works. There is nothing else to do on property. The cabanas are... rough. We were promised a cabana with a king bed. Turns out, they all only have double beds. For two people on a honeymoon, that's a big bummer and I would have chosen somewhere else if I had known. The cabana was SO hot when we arrived and didn't cool down for about 5 hours, though we had the tiny in-window AC unit blasting the whole time and were sitting right next to it. The water pressure was practically non-existent. You could see the ground through the floorboards. The beds were comfortable enough and I was pleasantly surprised that the pillows were decent, considering the rest. There were many dogs on the property, which I personally loved, but may be a drawback to others. They did get into a barking spat for about 5 minutes late at night. We're used to dogs so that didn't bother us. They were a welcome warmth in our opinion. Really, I wouldn't particularly recommend staying here, which hurts my heart because we would love to see Kevin supported. He was so helpful and kind and it was so easy to get to dinner and the airport because of him.
