The hotel was beautiful, rooms was spacious. Hotel was located minutes away from American Dream Mall. While breakfast seemed plentiful, it was disappointing in that most of the food seemed very bland (even the omelets). I didn't really think about it until after we left, but I realized they gave us a room with two full size beds when we had reserved a room that was supposed to have two queen sized beds.

Great location if you need to be in Manhattan for anything. Bus from the hotel to Port Authority is about $2.50 and takes 15 to 20 minutes. Stops right across from the hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Clean hotel and staff is very attentive. When we have several days in NYC, we almost always stay here.

Score: 3/5 What we liked: The location is excellent and very convenient. We also really appreciated the two separate rooms, the safe, and the breakfast options provided. Furthermore, the pre-arrival communication regarding accommodation and transportation details was excellent, which made us feel very secure about the check-in process and how to get around. Areas for improvement: The hotel is in urgent need of a general retrofit, as the furniture is very outdated. The rooms are too dark and need better lighting. Additionally, the bathroom amenities (shampoo and soap) should be upgraded, and the chairs in the restaurant were quite dirty and need deep cleaning. We are giving it a 3 mostly because of the great location; otherwise, the rating would have been lower.
