For a handicapped room it was far for someone to walk to from the elevators the bed was high for her to get into and hard as a rock could not sleep on it and for a handicap room trying to get in and out of the tub was difficult also

Staff was great! Breakfast was good. It was very busy but we never had to wait for a table and they did not run out of anything. Pool area was clean. They should have signs around the edge to indicate “no jumping or diving”. People don’t read the rules posted on the wall. Would recommend them as a good place to stay. Will definitely go back.

The hotel was definitely dated and a bit musty as most hotels in this area, but it was clean. The beach was wonderful and the location was perfect to walk to downtown Mackinaw City and all the nearby restaurants.

This is an older property which needs some upgrades. Only one elevator, definitely a hold up. Everyone was friendly and the breakfast was good.

Great location. We had a lake view room and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise each morning. The hotel is old with dim lighting in the hall but a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed for more. The highlights were the comfy beds, the yummy breakfast and the beach right outside a hotel door. One complaint was the smell of our room and that the air conditioning unit was not working well. The room smelled little off and even after hours of running the AC our room wasn’t cold by any means. It is a very large, very busy hotel but it was quiet. The breakfast staff went above and beyond to make the food nice. We will definitely be back.

Room was a good size, bathroom was large with double sinks. Bed had 6 pillows for extra comfort. Even though hotel was packed it was quiet. View of lake from balcony was lovely. Only downside was the breakfast. The eggs were powered and there were no cold selections (like yogurt).

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff “upgraded” our room to one that had a jacuzzi. I assume the did this because they gave the room we reserved to someone else. The jacuzzi was useless and a waste of space. The room was dark and otherwise not useful because of the giant jacuzzi.
