Older hotel convenient location

This hotel is right across from Penn Station so A+ for convenience if you're flying out of EWR. It is safe and clean. My room was large by NY standards but it is old and oddly the radiator heat was on and couldn't turn off and the window unit air conditioners had to run too for it to be comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall good.

Super convenient to MSG, Times Square, Penn Station etc. Excellent staff. Kind of a quintessential NY hotel. Lobby Fancy. Room is less fancy but felt New York esc. Beds were great and all you should be using room for is to sleep while in New York. Enjoyed our stay. Very reasonable price. Overall, a wonderful time at the "Stuey". Plan to go again when back in NYC.

This was a great hotel that we will be returning too! We were able to walk to alot of the stores and sightseeing oooo that we wanted too. The facility was clean but did need a small amount of upkeeping- nothing that would deter us from returning ( small carpet stain, marks on table, small rip in hallway wallpaper). Room was spacious and staff was very friendly and helpful! There is also a wonderful bakery located right next store ( Paris Baguette) that we had breakfast at daily! Accessible from the street for wheelchair via side entrance elevator which was wonderful.

Stayed here for the location. It was right beside MSG and a short walk to our office which you CANNOT beat for a couple days in the city. The front desk was extremely nice, our room was a nice size and we had no issues. On the contrary, It is a little bit outdated and had a slight mildew smell to it. But overall for the price we payed we were very happy!!

It was actually really nice, I loved that it was so close to the subway station and had restaurants all around! didn’t have to worry about food and transportation. One thing I do wanna see improvement is their showers, it’s so tiny! Not made for bigger people.

Hotel is in a very lovely area! Close to everything… but it is very run down! Bathroom was not clean and very old, the drainer was broken, the bed was very uncomfortable.. woke up with back pain!! For the amount I payed overnight I expected better!

It is an old hotel which need serious maintenance. The staff was very very friendly and it is well located from a couple of metro stations and shopping. The first night my room was like a sauna and the bathroom smelled terrible. I asked to change room and the hotel comply to a better room.
