First off, we were put on first floor right by main lobby in 113, as soon as we opened the door it SMELLED musty and moldy, very stagnant. I told them immediately that we can’t stay in there due to allergies and they then moved us right across the room to 116. Smelled better, but no Keurig in the room, and immediately when I went to turn ac on, there we found a long electrical cord with open wires at the end of it!!!!! I went right to desk to tell them that is unsafe and I wanted to talk to a manager. They didn’t seem happy and told me there wasn’t a manager. They then put us on 3rd floor which wasn’t a bad room but elevator rail was broken and the elevator floors were so sticky and black like that hadn’t been mopped in weeks. The breakfast was gross, the biscuits stale and rock hard, heavy cold, and there was a young teen who kept coming in to make plates then leave and walk it outside to another location then would come back multiple times. We let my son swim in the pool, freezing cold, not heated and bugs in pool that I skimmed out myself. This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in for the price it is unreal. The only thing nice were the beds. We have stayed with holiday inn express many times but this one is TERRIBLE! I shoudlve spent the extra money for the Hampton across the street!
