Good location and good size room Had a good bathroom but needed some maintenance They had someone fix exhaust fan when we told them it didn't work .but still needed to get plumber to fix leaking shower Kitchen was adequate Everything could have been a bit cleaner

We really enjoyed our stay at City Terraces! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with making recommendations for our trip. The location is very close to grocery and restaurants, and about 15-20 to esplanade. The parking was very convenient and they even had bikes we borrowed to ride around town. The AC and kitchen were very appreciated and the laundry facilities were very nice. Its $4 (in $1 coins) to use the washer and dryer. They have a drying rack in the room if you don't want to use the dryer. We are definitely planning to stay again for our next trip to cairns!

Great staff--they do everything they can to insure a great stay. Loaned us umbrellas, beach stuff, a shopping cart--plus lots of ideas on what to do. It is far enough away from the waterfront to be quieter, but just down the street from a major mall and an easy walk to the waterfront or there is a busline a block away.It is NOT the "Ritz"--but had a great pool that was empty most of the time and felt much more personal than a chain hotel.

Lyn went out of her way to make sure that we had a wonderful stay in Cairns. We were up here to dive on the reef, and we were able to leave our extra bags at City Terraces while we were out on the reef for a few days. Our apartments were very comfortable, with ceiling fans and air conditioning. Our veranda overlooking the pool was a great place to sit and soak up the atmosphere. Free WIFI was appreciated as well. There isn't an elevator, but we had no difficulties with the stairs. Lyn was able to suggest activities to fill our spare days, and was happy to book them for us. We made great use of the complimentary bicycles, which made getting around Cairns easy. The ride up to the botanical gardens was easy, as Cairns is very flat. City Terraces is only a few blocks from the very centre of Cairns, so walking in to restaurants was easy. The main shopping centre is also only a couple of blocks away, so it is very conveniently located. If we come back to Cairns again this is where we will be staying!

Very spacious appartment. The hosts are very nice, they gave many hints where to go, where to eat and the like. Free inhouse parking, free bicycles. Overall we had an excellent stay.
