Our room was clean and functional. My biggest issue was the lack of staff / service. There is no one at the front desk ever. We managed to catch a maintenance person at one point who was helpful in getting us extra pillows and blankets. The staff at the other mantra property were also helpful with booking a tour. But other requests we made by phone for additional towels and a new lamp (the USB port on ours was visibly shredded and there were VERY few outlets in the room) were never addressed.

We stayed in Mantra for a week and loved it. A large well decorated apartment with views over the inlet, so close to shops and restaurants, and great facilities for travellers on the go. Equipped kitchen and washing machine were a welcome surprise. It was very peaceful given the central location, and we received a warm welcome on arrival. Unit had a large bed, double sofa bed, kitchen, dining table, large balcony, jacuzzi bath and shower. Parking was provided free in the underground car park. Nice pool and BBQ too. Great for the family. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Superbe séjour chez mantra, l’appartement était tel que sur les photos, propre et très fonctionnel. Gros point positif la localisation et la terrasse. Superbe expérience à port Douglas qui reste une ville étape très sympa à faire au nord du Queensland.

Central location, walking distance to most shops, restaurant & beach. Noise from exhaust fan & cooking smells from pub below was unpleasant at times when sitting outside. No door to the toilet/bathroom which was odd & would probably prevent us staying again.

Reception staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Really need to get the baggage elevator working though considering there is no elevator for guests and a lot of stairs!
