Our recent stay at this Best Western was not as pleasant as we hoped. The front desk and restaurant staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated. The high toilet in the bathroom was convenient, but the deep and narrow tub was difficult to use for shorter or plus-sized guests, and no face cloths were provided. Housekeeping refreshed the towels and bedding but did not remove used glasses or restock the in-room tea.
The room lighting made it hard to sleep, and the mix of “yellow” and “bright white” bulbs created an uneven effect; choosing one consistent tone, ideally bright white, would improve comfort. One main elevator was out of service for most of our stay, and the basement elevator to the pool and fitness area was also unavailable. When we finally accessed the pool, it was very cold, and keycards occasionally stopped working, which was inconvenient.
Breakfast was the highlight, offering friendly service and a nice variety of options such as scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt, back bacon, and tater tots. The location is excellent, with easy access to shopping and dining. However, the property would benefit from maintenance, better housekeeping attention, and improvements to guest comfort.
