I would honestly say choose a different place. I had pets and checked in early, I didn’t hesitate about claiming my pets and I didn’t mind paying $358 for a 2 night stay with the added charges. I’m not a Karen, and policy is policy.
But since I always clean my rooms entirely before leaving and this hotel decided to charge both me, and a friend I referred to the hotel this weekend $60 additional fees after check out, I’ll go ahead and tell you how below standard this was for a Baymont property.
The pillows need replaced badly. The smell like your teenage kids’ pillows- that sweat and dirty hair smell.
They do have free breakfast, but this location offers less than any Baymont or La Quinta we’ve frequented in the past. It felt more like continental, and breakfast is a primary reason we choose Wyndham properties when we travel for dog shows.
Our water was yellow in the shower, and in the sink and toilet.
There were also gnats, and I still can’t figure out where they were coming from.
But mostly, it seems like they’re running a scam on cleaning fees. Both rooms we rented were occupied by two adults each, and show dogs that were disclosed, and paid for. Both parties pre cleaned our rooms. There were no messes, or animal potties in the rooms. And we are all people who frequent hotels with these dogs- this isn’t a typical action.
This property is fine, but $410 for two nights is outrageous for budget style lodging.
