I would not recommend the Super 8 at all based on the experience I had. They charged my account directly without my authorization, even though I had already booked and paid through Hotels.com. I had to chase them for a refund, and thankfully the Hotels.com team stepped in and resolved the issue for me.
Besides the billing problems, the stay itself was also disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable and extremely loud, the room had a strong unpleasant smell when we arrived, and the front desk lady was not friendly or helpful. When I asked her about the extra charges, she refused to answer my questions and kept telling me to call Hotels.com—despite the fact that Super 8 were the ones who charged my card.
Overall, I will not be staying at Super 8 again. For just a few dollars more, I can choose a hotel that is more reputable, cleaner, and provides better customer service.
