NEWBERLIN

This was my first stay in the NEWBERLIN. It is close to the Landsberger Allee train (one stop on the M). The hotel is classy with a fine restaurant and the rooms are spacious. The street outside is noisy, but the double-windows handle that well. My only issue was that the room smelled heavily of smoke, even for Germany (though I booked non-smoking on Hotels.com) and the property was fully booked, so no other room was available. I ended up sleeping with all of the windows open and ear-plugs (not pleasant). On the upside, the rooftop spa (with Sauna) was amazing as was the restaurant and staff.

My stay was ok WiFi doesn’t work in a room, the hotel should not advertise FreeWifi . I was embarrasse to bring guess in my room, The Chair in my room had a hole on it “will add pictures” The overall staff are ok

Superb place to stay! A cosy & small hotel with a friendly staff. Excellent & delicious breakfast. You can use sauna freely.( Only minus was that in the sauna there wasn’t a water bucket for throwing water over the hot stones. It’s important in the Finnish sauna. )The location is excellent, if you want to be near all good techno clubs. Very good public transportation connections. Nice restaurants, where to eat, are very near. It’s also located in a quiet place, so you can sleep your nights peacefully. There was also a balcony included in the room. All amenities were good. I would like to stay here again, when I come to Berlin next time.

Didn’t like that the double bed was two singles pushed together

Location was fantastic. Close to trams and buses. A short walk to stunning Volkspark. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast had a great selection. I really my stay here and would stay again.

Fantastic location with cafes and shops nearby. Close to all types of public transport. Room was lovely to stay in, a lot on offer for breakfast and staff were great. I hope to stay there again.

The staff in the hotel were excellent, very pleasant and helpful. We were staying as part of our 30th wedding anniversary, and the hotel allowed us to have our sons and their partners over for breakfast, on the day we left, and had beautiful flowers on the table. We felt the rooms quite warm, and due to the busy road the hotel is on, couldn't really open the windows, but I think most hotels in Berlin would be like this. I would definitely stay again, it's a lovely, small hotel with very friendly staff and great service.

Perfect for the local hospital - nice clean room, great breakfast ... nicely cooked, very accommodating staff, polite and professional

Interesting place, felt very old but rennovated in the 90’s or something - the bathroom was nice, and the room had a balcony but nothing on it. There was a new looking old school shaggy rug in the room that felt like I was in some dudes bachelor pad who landed a successful job right out of college. The upsides: staff was kind, breakfast was good, and the sauna and sauna lounge area was great. I would go back for those things, but everything else felt strange. It was expensive for what it was but I did book the day of.
