Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I asked for a first-floor room because of some medical issues and was told they cost more. Took forever to get checked in. The first room we were given smelled like death.
The second room - right next to the first - smelled better. There was a lamp on the nightstand with the cord wrapped around it because there was no outlet to plug it into.
I took my shoes off at the door, walked across the room to use the bathroom, went back, and the soles of my feet were black - very dirty room. There were hairs in the bathtub. The next morning, I wanted to take a shower and my wife wanted to wash her hair, but we couldn't because there was no water pressure and there was only one bath towel. I went to the front desk (window, actually) to mention something and get some more towels, but the sign said no one would be there until 8:45 AM. How convenient for them.
It's not in a good area of town, but you can't tell that when you book unless you know the area. We did not feel safe. Strong smell of marijuana when you stepped outside the door.
I would not ask my enemies to stay here, and if the health department shows up, they may very well be shut down. We travel a lot for business, and this was the worst experience of my life.
