This hotel is in perfect location if you like to be relatively close to the Old Town. We were able to check in early for a 20 SEK, what is the great option to have. Very friendly staff and rooms are great.

The location is great. The rooms thou, i bit expensive for what they offer. Its a plain room, not very clean either, i had to remember the stuff 2 that i would like my room vacuumcleaned and if it didnt happen to be in the room when the cleaner came, it wouldnt had been done then either. The bathroom is beautiful and well takem care of, but for the money that they ask o'd expect a separate shower gel and not shampoo and showergel in the same conditioner. Maybe a body lotion would be good too. The employees are very nice thou! As i said, we probably paid for the location.

Located within easy walking distance of Central Station the hotel is well appointed with a gym, good morning buffet breakfast (one must schedule a time and it is flexible and can be modified), and nice room. Few minor issues: no smoked fish at the huge breakfast buffet so that was disappointing; the various buildings make for a confusing trip to one’s room; electrical outlets are few and poorly placed.

The location of the Scandic Wallin was great and central in Stockholm, very walkable to a good selection of restaurants, site seeing and shopping. The central train station was less than a 10 minute walk. The room was clean, very comfortable and the decoration was very nice with a Danish flair! The bathroom was a little small but the shower had good water pressure. The bed was quite comfortable and very quiet environment to sleep. I would definitely come back to this hotel without hesitation. We did not have the breakfast option so I cannot comment on the food selection offered. Overall it was a great choice hotel to stay at.

Loved the hotel!

The room and bathroom were great! We had a family room on the 6th floor which meant I needed to carry my bags up and down five or so stairs. Since I’m 76 and have arthritis that can be problematic. When we were leaving the hotel we decided to use the staff (only) elevator to avoid the stairs. This created an awkward situation since the floors are numbered differently and we were having trouble getting out until we realized the hotel would have to have a way outside for emergencies. It would be great if there were a solution to the bags vs stairs problem.
