I paid for a king suite and they gave me a queen suite. First room and night we had a room with no towels or soap upon checkin. The mattress felt like sleeping on plywood. After moving all weekend U wanted to relax but we had to move rooms. I have a central line to my heart to eat with and am very unwell. I chose the sandman knowing the quality experiences I have had in the past but the Red Deer Sandman was NOT clean. A door handle fell off and nailed my jack Russel in the head. There was so much hard water buildup on the tap area went everywhere when you turned it on. The bathroom was not clean properly, there was hair and debris behind the toilet. The overflow for the bathtub was completely missing. Just as we were going to bed night 2 the toilet started leaking. The bathroom door if closed could not be open from the kitchenette side and there was drywall dirt all around the edges of the card. There was a thin boarder of dirt all around the edges of the tiled areas. Our socks were black from walking in the room with no shoes on. I got charged twice for the first night and way to much for the remaining 4. I am exhausted and headed for surgery during this stay and have had very little sleep due to the anxiety this all has caused. I would have given 1 star but the 1 daytime front desk agent was very nice.
