This property has great potential due to its island location and proximity to beaches, parks, marinas, and the bridge. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. Upon arrival, we learned the elevator and boiler (no hot water) were out of service with no timeline for repair. Despite our heavy luggage and four-night stay, we were placed on the 4th floor with no elevator.
The room lacked cleanliness—crumbs, snacks, and dust were found between furniture, along with a random sock under the A/C unit. The bathroom showed signs of neglect, with peeling sealant and a poorly patched wall where a hairdryer had been removed; the hairdryer was left loosely hanging from the towel rack.
Keycards failed three times during our stay, and each time we were issued replacements with no identity verification, raising security concerns. Additionally, no breakfast was offered.
While not the worst hotel experience, it’s not one I’d recommend for more than a short stopover unless significant improvements are made.
