Could have been better.
Our 2 night stay at this hotel was average, and unfortunately, there were several aspects that let it down.
The main issue we encountered was with the TV. It wasn’t working when we arrived, so we reported it to reception. Upon our return, the TV had been turned on, but the remote seemed to be the problem, as it only worked intermittently. It appeared that the previous guest had the same issue, as the TV had been switched off at the wall behind it. This made it difficult to turn the TV off at night without manually accessing the plug.
The room itself wasn’t what I’d call dirty, but it definitely needed a more thorough clean in the less obvious areas. A good dusting would have made a big difference.
On a more positive note, we enjoyed the bar and found the location convenient, which added to the overall experience. However, given the issues we faced and the overall quality, we didn’t feel the stay was good value for money. Sadly, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
