Just okay

Beds were very uncomfortable. The hot tub did not have hot water- it is really just a spa tub which was very disappointing. Room was spacious. Great location. Staff was friendly.

The hotel and staff were very nice and clean! No microwave in the rooms, had to use it in a common area and the restaurant was cozy and great food but they were understaffed and had to wait a long time for the food. The bartender did a excellent job of trying to work the bar and serving tables at the same time but Managment should of had more employees knowing it was a holiday week. Thanks Dianna for being so nice to us!

Great place, POOR Check-In policies & no contact #

Staff and location are wonderful. The building is a bit dated and needs some upkeep. The rear stairwell door on the ground level jammed and was difficult opening to exit. The CHECK-IN WAS POOR and only salvaged to a non-frown by the friendliness of staff. The hotel policy is strict on arrival time, but then the number provided to contact the hotel for check-in DID NOT WORK.

The hotel does not provide any services. There’s no breakfast available. Rooms are not cleaned during your stand, even after repeated requests. They didn’t have sufficient staff to provide dinner at Trappers.

Hotel is beautiful but upon arrival we have learned that breakfast is not available (continental breakfast supposed to be part of the package). We had reservations at phonex restaurant but after we arrived for dinner restaurant shot down unexpected at 6:30 pm Saturday. Restaurant or bar did not opened for rest of the weekend either. Ice machine was down too. We have little baby and going out in town for breakfast and dinner was inconvenient. We booked phonex hotel because breakfast was included and restaurant/bar was in the building. Refund was offered to us for lack of breakfast $2. Seriously?! Lights in the grant rooms and outside the building were down too. Just as hotel is not open. Friendly staff.

Manage your expectations

We were in town to attend a funeral. It is a very quaint inn and was perfect for what we needed during our selection process. It does not fit within the typical service of a normal hotel. We were going to arrive late past the time of the inn closing at 9pm. Megan graciously reached out to make sure we knew how to access our room as there was no one on site. Unfortunately the room was dirty with dead bugs on the window sill. There was no air/heat in the room and made for an uncomfortable night of sleep. There was a portable ac cooler in the room however not set for proper operation. Needed some amenities and didn’t know how to get them as no one was on site- ex. Tissues, extra washcloth as our room only had one.

Save your money stay elsewhere

Where do I start we’ll from pretty much every amenity advertised not being available no restaurant no room service no working hot tub even the ice machine was out of order. Which on a holiday weekend traveling with young children and elderly and all local restaurants closed not having any room service to feed everyone after a long road trip made things difficult. Then to top it off we had no hot water to bathe or shower anyone. Then when we went to make ice the fridge and ice trays had dirt and bugs in them yuck!! And finally our beds even had hair and dirt and bugs in them. When I addressed this with staff and hotels. Com no one was willing to do anything and there were no other places with available rooms. These things I would come to expect from a flea bag motel at 50$ a night not a 4 star hotel at over 200$ a night. So in conclusion I suggest you save ur money and stay elsewhere. Maybe even find a different company besides hotels. Com to use seeing as they don’t back up and support their own customers or false advertising on what’s posted on there sites

The thermostat only controlled the air conditioner. Heating was with electric fireplaces which were difficult to control. Clearly a summer destination and we were there in October. Would not return.

The staff and management were helpful and responsive. The building is in need of some updating, but staff worked very hard to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Everything you need is located on Main Street staying here is a no brainer!

8/10 Very good

The rooms and property are more dated than the photos suggest, but the stay was comfortable enough. The desk is unmanned, though they do leave cell numbers for the on-call staff which was effective. You can't really come and go as you please after a certain time, as they lock the front doors, but there really isn't much to do in the area after dark anyway. The room was tidy, mattress was old and springy but the bedding was very fresh. Coffee available in the lobby and in room, with a couple cute restaurants nearby for breakfast. I'd stay here again in a pinch.

What was that?

During my stay, I could tell right away the "Resort" was run by pure chaos. The receptionist had issues with Expedia but tried to make those issues my issues. There are notes taped to the door when you walk in as to how to check in because employees don't work there often. The decor throughout the "resort" is all from the 80s. It is not all that clean. There is also a musty feel to the whole place. All in all it was a truly odd stay. You'll see what I mean when you stay here.

There's no front office manager but we call and they were there two minutes after. Check-in was easy. We got an upgrade. Its a cozy hotel with few amenities but cozy. Restaurant was not so bad. Expensive but at least in the hotel. We didint like the neighborhood particularly at night but it was ok for one night.

Good amenities, courteous staff. Large rooms, have us a free upgrade with jacuzzi tub 😀
