I am deeply dissatisfied with my recent stay. While I could have overlooked the dated condition of the room—such as dirty grouting in the bathroom, holes in the walls, and worn carpeting—the service and overall experience were far below any acceptable standard of hospitality.
Despite booking and paying for a family room, clearly specifying that a child would be present, we were placed in a room directly above the function room and bar. Loud music continued well past midnight, making it impossible to rest. My partner had to approach staff five times before we were finally offered an alternative room at 11:45 p.m., which was still unsuitable as it only had a double bed instead of the double and single bed arrangement we needed.
To make matters worse, I am 33 weeks pregnant, and we were traveling with our 3-year-old son. With a 3:30 a.m. wake-up for an early flight, the lack of rest left us completely exhausted and overwhelmed.
What disappointed me most was the lack of consideration and proactive customer care. It should not take repeated complaints and late-night disruptions to resolve an issue that could have been avoided with better planning and attention to guest needs. This experience was unacceptable, and I hope future guests are treated with greater care.
