We went to Branson to see David the musical, which was spectacular and a few other groups.
We looked around to find a reasonably priced hotel that also offered a good breakfast. We found the stone castle. When we checked in the service was fairly slow, but we made it in.
The hotel was sold out, which tells you that it must’ve been a good price and a decent place to stay.
The rooms are very plain. There’s not much in them. It’s very basic, but I will tell you it was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, with nice fluffy pillows.
I was surprised the next morning at the breakfast. I thought it would be fairly small and it was absolutely the opposite.
The dining area was very full of people extremely loud, but the service was good.
Getting our food was quick being able to sit down and eat and then go out to our next adventure.
The breakfast had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cereals, and multiple kinds of bread that you could toast up fresh. The breakfast was included in the price of your room, making it well worth it.
Again, if you’re looking for fancy places to stay, this is not the place for you, but if you’re looking for a really reasonably priced clean efficient place to stay, in the center of everything while you’re seeing your shows in Branson this is the place.
If you want to spend your money on other wonderful things to do, choose the Stone Castle, then go out and see all of Branson and the shows.
