I stayed at this hotel in 2022 with no problem. This time in 2024, when we asked for extra key for the room and were given one, we encountered rude staff Lucero who overcharged us. When I got the bill, I find that they changed my reservation without disclosing this to me in advance, and they charged me more money for an additional person. We did not have an additional person. We only had 2 people. One person was disabled and we needed a key for the driver to help with the bags. When I contacted the hotel for a refund due to their mistake, they refused. I was told by Lucero at the front desk, that I should have read her mind via ESP to know that they had mysteriously changed my reservation to add more people and charge me more money, and I should have somehow found them to "reconfirm" that we only have two people. When I turned in my key after our one night stay, there was no one at the desk. How am I supposed to read her mind? How am I supposed to "reconfirm" when no one is there? I had to dispute the extra charges from my credit card company. Lucero refused to give me a refund and correct their mistake, bc again, I should have somehow read their mind and intuited these extra charges that they never disclosed beforehand. I cannot address an issue I have no idea is happening and the hotel needs to disclose any extra charges in advance instead of hiding them.
