Loved my stay here! Ana was helpful from the moment I arrived, and the room was clean with easy access to both Bacvice Beach and Old Town, with several food and convenience markets nearby. Thank you for a great experience!

The room was excellent situated in an apartment building close to the old part of town. The outside of the building was unattractive and seemed a little frightening. We were reassured that the neighborhood was safe. There were no problems, other than I was not expecting to be in a refurbished apartment. The staff person was very helpful because we were arriving at 6 pm and met us at the property. The apartment was clean and well appointed.

The room is exactly as per pictures and nice tbf. However the word 'luxury' I would say is an exaggeration. The big let down is what the room is in. I was expecting the nice terracotta building in the pictures. But it is in fact in a hideous concrete tower block

Odanın balkonu yoktu sadece yarım açılan bir pencereden havalandırma imkanı vardı klima çalışmıyordu. Çok eski yüksek katlı bir binada bir daire bölünerek iki oda yapılmış odalar iç içeydi. Yatak, yastık ve örtüler çok çok pisti havlular inanılmaz pis ve çok kötü kokuyordu. Genel olarak eşyalar çok eski ve kirliydi. Hijyen sıfır. Plajlara ve merkeze en az 25 dk yürüme mesafesi vardı. 5 dk mesafede sadece bir market ve bir kaç kahve içebileceğiniz mekan vardı.

Konum olarak merkeze uzak, hem plaja hem de old town a 20-30 dk yürüyüş mesafesinde. çok bakımsız eski bir apartmandaki daire ikiye bölünmüş, aynı kapıdan giriyorsunuz, karşılıklı odalar, aynı evde gibisiniz, sesler duyuluyor, odada balkon yok. Yatak çok eski ve pis, yastık ve örtülerde aynı şekilde, yatağın her yeri siyah saç doluydu, oda da genel olarak temiz değildi. Yataktan ve yastıktan hastalık kapılabilir. Havlular da çok kötü kokuyordu, lekeli ve eskiydi. Banyoda şofben vardı.

Great views

Like others have said , these apartments are 2 separate rooms with a bathroom each in an old tower block. It's about 15 minutes walk from the bus station, 20 minutes walk to the Old Town. Apartment has an amazing view. Host was very welcoming and the apartment was sparkling clean.

FRAUD LISTING - AVOID

FRAUD LISTING. NOT A REAL HOTEL - DO NOT STAY Listing is for an old disgusting apartment bloc dating back to Yugoslavia. It seems given the popularity of Croatia, this place is marketing itself as a place to stay. AVOID IT. Upon arriving at the property, I was threatened and said I did not belong there. It was not safe and the listing was very inaccurate, misleading, and fraudulent. Clearly not a hotel. Then, when asking for a refund, both the property and Hotels.com refuse to refund me. DO NOT BOOK THIS

Pietra Negra bestaat uit 2 kamers in een (lelijk) app gebouw. Er is dus geen receptie of ontbijtgelegenheid. De beschreven buitenruimte is een dor grasveld aan een druk kruispunt. De lokatie is goed en de kamers zelf zijn prima. Wij hadden gordijnen die stuk waren en die werden direct gemaakt. Service is dus uitstekend. Samenvattend vonden we de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding niet goed. Het is onderdeel van een keten van boutique hotels maar mist die uitstraling totaal en is zeker geen 4-sterren hotel/app.

Dirty and bad service

When we where going to check in we tried to contact the ”hotel” and noone answered. The checkin time is 15.00! We landed very early and where thinking that maybe we can try to pay for an early checkin. But when we arrives it wasn’t a hotel, it’s a apartment. We tried to contact the host and they didn’t answered. We contacted Hotels.com and they where going to relocate us! They had a hard time to find a location for us nearby. 12.30 the host contacted us with excuses but no apologize. We decided to go with the “hotel” we booked because we where so tired of waiting! 14.00 we meet up the host but the room was still so dirty. 14.55 came the cleaner and 15.10 she was done. The room was still a bit dirty with hear at the bathroom floor and the drinking glasses where still dirty. And the sink in the shower really needed cleaning… The contact with the host during our 10 nights where unexpectable. We contactes her about only having one blanket and pillow and she answered late about that, though she gave us an other blanket. We bought our own pillows at the mall. We contacted her about the cleaning and she came not the same day but the day after. We asked about the wifi code, and we didn’t got an answer. It felt like she thought we where enjoying. But we just asked for service that we have right to.

When I booked this I had no idea that it was in a residential towerblock on the 10th floor. It stated in the wording Guest House with no lift. It did not state it was in a rundown towerblock I felt unsafe going up at night with sprawling graffiti on the outside and an area of dried grass described as a garden. Inside looked like the photos - contemporary but it actually is an apartment converted into 2 x rooms with bathroom. Bathroom is already starting to show poor workmanship with silicone peeling from ceiling. It was noisy from above and the next room. Lift was so old you wouldn't want more than 2 people in it and it is way over priced!! This is not what it is advertised as and sold as.
