When we arrived at the property we were very impressed on how clean the outsude was. We got checked in and the staff was very friendly and was willing to help with anything we needed. Fiod and convenience stores were close by. The common areas and the rooms were so clean and smelled good. We have family in this area and we will be stating here when we are in town. I give this 11 stars out if 10

This hotel is clean and quiet, which is nice for a traveling nurse like myself. The staff was pleasant but did ask a lot of personal questions which was a bit off-putting. The breakfast was not as expected. Mostly cold items, but it was acceptable. Overall, I plan to stay there again.

Great place to stay in Garnett

I stayed here two nights, exploring the Prairie Spirit Trail and southeastern Kansas. I would stay here again. The rooms are in good shape, I slept well, noise was not a problem (though there are railroad tracks nearby). And the owner (Sunny?) was genuinely interested in making sure the stay was a good one. Every time I saw him, which was almost every time I went through the lobby, he'd be asking how things were. The breakfast was much better than expected, with protein available in the form of yogurt and breakfast sandwiches (and maybe more that I didn't try), enough for an active day. Sunny also let me leave my car there during the day after checkout while I rode the trail, which I appreciate - it's more convenient than driving to a trailhead for the sake of it. And you can also easily bicycle into town, or walk if you're okay with a bit of a longer walk. Toddy's Back Porch is also easy walking distance.
