I made my reservation on 10/31, Expedia itinerary: 72067820958712. I received a confirmation of my stay from Expedia on 11/10.
When I showed up at the hotel, they had no record of my reservation. They suggested I contact Expedia, which I attempted to by Chat while standing in the lobby. I would get a few questions in, then get cut off.
I attempted to find a Customer Service phone number, but you know how difficult that is since you purposely send everyone to Help Articles and AI chat. After an hour with no help from Expedia, I had to leave to attend the funeral I came to town for. Since we didn't have the hotel room we reserved, the woman at the Front Desk was kind enough to let us change in the small lobby bathroom.
As we left she was on the phone with her manager trying to sort it out, but we had to go.
I have no way of knowing who dropped the ball, Expedia or the hotel. Either way it added a tremendous amount of stress to what was already a difficult day.
