I spent one night on December 13 with my partner. I had included purchasing breakfast at the time of my booking. The room was adequate somewhat small, mostly clean, but there was a large coffee stain in the middle of the floor that looked pretty fresh. We went to the bar to have a drink, using the two drink voucher that I received on check-in and was promptly told by the server that she was swamped and that it was gonna be a minute. Clearly, she was overworked and understaffed as it took 15 minutes before she came back, took our order in a very un courteous and rude manner.
The next morning I went to breakfast and was informed that there was a 30 minute wait to be seated, and that the kitchen was backed up and food would probably take an additional hour. Unfortunately, I did not have this amount of time so I went to the front desk to request a credit for the breakfast that I purchased. I was told by the front desk person that since I booked through a third-party app, hotels.com, that she couldn’t credit anything back. That was pretty much the end of the story there was no apology, no attempt to resolve in any manner. I was told that I could call the manager, but I would be told the same thing. Frustrated and out of time I just left. It was clear to me that while this could be a very nice facility with an excellent location, the customer service is lacking. Employees all appear to be overworked, under trained, and don’t care. I will not be back.
