Everything was great except for multiple things being out of order and the pool being closed earlier than set time. Especially considering I came specifically for the pool and hot tub. If I would have known ahead of time I would have found a different location with a working pool and hot tub.

It was my first time staying at a Quality. It was not necessarily "quiet,' until 10PM, but that was because there were a lot of families there. If parents are staying there with their young kids, I am willing to say it's reputable place. The hot tub was closed, but the pool was a relaxing chill after a day of driving. In addition, if you're hungry, there are a lot of chain restaurants nearby -- including a Cracker Barrel next door.

The hotel really needs a renovation. We stayed in Quality Inn Myrtle Beach and that was awesome. The problems with Dayton were: Phone did not work when I tried to call my husband. He has a brain injury and he would not have been able to call for help if he needed to. The clock radio had to be unplugged because it made weird noises. The remote for the TV did not work because the last resident put the batteries in backwards and the back was missing. The refrigerator badly needed to be defrosted. The Quality Inn in Myrtle Beach had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, and sausage, in addition to pancakes, bread, bagels and muffins. The fruit was not appealing and the yogurt tasted bad like it was out of date. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed help. We would love to consider Quality Inn when we visit Dayton again, but only if you do some major renovations.

The lady that check us in was nice. We got to the room and there was a strong odor, we asked to be moved but only other room had a noisy air conditioner so we stayed in the room we had. They came in the next day and took our dirty towels and did not replace them. We had to go to the office to get new towels for the next day.

Property was well worn, the bathtub was stained, as well as one of our towels, it looked like lipstick, but the pillows and bed were comfy. Pool was cold, hot tub was out of order. Limited breakfast

No key for the door due to broken lock. Receptionist at the desk was not unkind but not very personable. Bed is comfortable, room is clean but the tub is stained. Overall much better than another hotel I stayed at in the same area.

Staff was good, property was dirty and pool/hot tub were closed indefinitely with no advanced notice. "Breakfast" was very limited and not great quality.

2/10 Poor

Ants in room, cold in first room, moved to another one, waited 10 minutes for anyone to check me in. A dive. Very disappointed and expensive for what I got. The employees were nice though.

Good parking. First room the heat did not work so had to move rooms. Then they have indoor pool but was not open dont understand seasonal if the pool is indoors should be all year. Different if there is only an outdoor pool. The staff the first girl was apologetic about heat n quickly changed rooms. Then came the pool discussion should have been made aware of the fact is wasnt open, asked if had pool said yes failed to say it was closed. Next breakfast was missing alot. I worked for comfort inn which is sister stores w Quality inn i know what the breakfast area is suppossed to be supplied with and they were missing alot. No bagels, no muffins, no hot choc. Morning staff very short with me when i asked for hot choc. And said day syaff would be in to tell them. Then i have a son that is autistic always at check inn was with us the manager in the morning said they had a complaint on my son when i asked her to give me an extra 20 mins to check out stated check out is at 11 if we were not out of the room at 11 deposit would be forfitted. So managed to get out on time i always leave my rooms as if someone stripped the room for the housekeeper therefore i know i did not forget to get all my belongings. The woman manager was extremely rude when she went to check the riomand upon comong back after checking our room gave us 80 insread of 100 because she charged me 20 for my son stating that i should have said i had an ex person told her there was 3 of us in the room extremely rude . Horrible stay

None of the advertised amenities were open/working. The pool/hot tub/laundry etc was all closed. The room is filthy, the bedding was stained with blood. Dirty washcloths having on the shower curtain, dirty coffee filter in the coffee maker. Contential breakfast had very little food. The pictures & description of hotel & rooms was inaccurate. I would never recommend staying here to anyone.

The AC did not work in the room initially assigned to us and half the light was out in the bathroom. They quickly moved us to another room. Only issue there was the outlets on the LH side of bed (nightstand) did not work. Otherwise the overnight stay was fine and bed was clean & comfortable.

Over priced, and in poor shape.

The hotel was on at best. My wife and I went on a long vacation from Arizona back east and stayed in 9 hotels all at $100 or less. We did not expect any of the hotels to be giving room service or look new and modern, but of the nine this was the second worse. The building definitely needs some TLC and upgrading, even for a budget motel it not in very good shape. The staff were friendly and helpful enough, and the breakfast was adequate with the same stuff that everyone else serves. But it was not clean even by budget hotel standards and desperately needs Maintenance and remodeling.

I like there were a good amount of restaurants around the place. The pool was dirty. The a/c was not cooled at all. Carpet was damaged. The TV was not working right. This was the 2nd room we were put in. The 1st room was not cleaned & TV was broken.
