We were visiting Vancouver as an anniversary/birthday trip. From the moment we arrived, until our departure a week later, we felt the warmth and friendliness displayed by the entire staff. Given that this is a small hotel, the staff make an extra effort to make us feel like the hotel was our home away from home. They acknowledged the anniversary/birthday with a lovely dessert tray delivered to our room upon arrival. They sincerely made an effort to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout our stay. We would recommend that you include the breakfast with your stay, as it was delicious, plentiful and well worth the extra money. The room was well appointed, well maintained and even included a steamer...which came in handy.
The hotel is located right on the water with numerous restaurants. It also hosts numerous festivals during the summer months including weekly night markets, markets, and concerts. The surrounding area is vibrant with activities and attractions. The Seabus is conveniently located nearby which gave us easy access to the city. (within a 12 min. ride across the water)
We highly recommend the Seaside Hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel in the future.
