This hotel overall was pretty descent the room was clean and comfy, and it was convenient to all the restaurants. I will definitely stay in. Oh and before I for get the check in guy has awesome customer service. I will definitely stay here again.

The parking lot had a huge broken section and we had to drive over it to get to and from our room. No breakfast available as advertised. Past stay was great and that is why we chose the location besides being close to everyone we came to see. Would love to travel again and stay with Howard Johnson.

Everything was great except that there were lots of bugs crawling around on the bathroom wall and also on the wall above the sink. I have no idea what kind they were.

First arrival, was told that housekeeping had called in sick, but they knew which rooms had already been cleaned. They claimed this would be a free upgrade. They gave us the room key and we went to the room. This had a king bed and jacuzzi. Our first trip to the bathroom, was when we discovered cockroaches that had died on the floor and inside the bathtub. Since we had already paid for the room and there was no housekeeping, I cleaned up the bathroom myself. We go to Aiken often, but we will never stay here again.

This hotel should be closed until fumigated and restored. I had to leave the hotel after the first of four nights I prepaid for. I was moved to 3 different rooms and there were many roaches in all. The walls had black dots of bugs’ excrement everywhere and small roaches crawling on the bed linen and the carpet. I opted for this hoteI trusting the brand Howard Johnson by Wyndham and the “good reviews” in Expedia. This hotel is undoubtly a health hazard. Ms. Brexton at the front desk on the 21st of September when I checked in was very kind, helpful and apologized for the situation which was certainly beyond her control.

Had a great stay here for 5 nights. We had booked two initially, then 2 more, and then 1 more on the last full day about 30 min til check out. We had met a couple staying underneath us for a couple days as well. He had happened to step out and she was waiting around 11:30 (checkout was 11), housekeeping came around to ready the new rooms and the girl was hanging in the door waiting for him to come back. They didn’t officially check out, and he had told the lady that he was going to check out another room. When housekeeping ran into the girl and told her she couldn’t be there and that the room was booked for the next night. I didn’t not believe her completely, but it was only a Friday night in a

Pretty Bad, DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE

All affordable hotels kinda suck now but considering the other fairly positive reviews I had higher expectations for this. The place was dirty with lots of damage. The water took ages to reach lukewarm in the shower and only came out with a garden-hose trickle. The carpet felt wet everywhere, like it had never really be cleaned. I got some additional towels and they just hung them on the outside of the door in a kroger bag instead of putting them in the room, never seen that before. My keycards got deactivated twice and I had to get the night deskperson to reactivate them. They never asked me for ID or proof I was even staying there. There was probably prostitution or drug dealing going on at this location. Lots of people outside of rooms late at night, moving between rooms, waiting in cars. A woman was tweaking in her car near my room. I didn't spend any time in the hotel besides sleeping during my trip, but if I was there with my partner or family I would have left and eaten the cost. Pros: The room smelled fine. The bed was comfortable and seemed clean. The door locked securely. The staff I interacted with were polite. Maybe I had too high expectations for a motel, but I certainly remember places like this, and Howard Johnsons being a little better...

At least we didn't see any bed bugs!

The room smelled like Granny had just smoked 3 packs of Marlboro reds. Room was dirty, actual visible crumbs on the floor. At least the roach on the floor was dead. here was flies on the ceiling. Boogers stuck to the wall in the bathroom. Looks like a 3rd grader did the caulk job around the faucet in the shower. I dont think the sheets were clean, there was eyeliner on the pillows. Balls of hair all over the floor and bathroom. It was late so we slept in our clothes on top the sheets. At least we didn't see any bed bugs!

Upon checkin the front desk had no internet to check in, the staff on duty was amazing he was very kind and trying his best. Once we got in, we had room 304, it was in the way back, the bathroom had a roach dead in the tub, the walls had stuff on them, the sheets on the one bed were nasty. It smelled like stale alcohol in the room, beer bottle tops were on the ground. We did not sleep there.
