I was excited to finally stay at this hotel - so much history and beautiful rooms. It is an amazing building and my room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and traffic noise was minimal. The art is fun and charming.
Unfortunately my room was only serviced once throughout my 5 night stay, and only after bringing it to the attention of the front desk, not once, but twice! Even after that, they again missed the last day of service. This coupled with every single dresser drawer being broken, and the awkward ikea wardrobe in the bedroom were really disappointing. While I was glad to have breakfast included, it’s pretty lackluster. I’m not sure I would stay again unless there are improvements in their housekeeping and furniture fixed.
