Checked into the QT Canberra for 4 days on a Monday. I will get the Pros out of the way first. The staff in the kitchen and dining room were excellent. Food was also excellent and the Eggs Benedict was probably the best I have ever had but sadly it went downhill from there. When we got out of the lift on our floor we saw that the floor was not vacuumed and was not vacuumed for the 4 days we were there. One morning we returned to your room and there was only two towels. We rang housekeeping, no answer, we rang Concierge, no answer, so we rang Reception , again no answer. I then went down to reception to complain but I had to wait in line as the 1 receptionist was busy. When he saw there was a lineup he went out the back to get another receptionist. A male came out and started doing his job. When I was eventually served I told him the problem especially about the phone calls, he advised that they were busy. I told him that the only person that was busy when I came down was the receptionist dealing with a guest. Not happy. Housekeeping eventually came to our room with sheets, not what we were after. We got the towels eventually. The next morning no hot water throughout the hotel, so a cold shower. No apology or explanation from the hotel. A terrible stay, won’t be back.
