Best Western is always a decent hotel but there were some minor issues I didn’t like. This BW didn’t seem as nice as other BW I’ve been in. Pillows were overstuffed and not very comfortable. Although the food was a bit better than average, the eating area was VERY small and really congested; way too small for a hotel of this size. The pool is outside, so it was closed and I didn’t see the workout room. This is minor to most people but the coffee and orange juice was very good, not the usual watered down hotel stuff that’s barely tolerable. This little stuff is important to me because, given a certain price range, a hotel is a hotel, not much difference. The staff was nice and the room was large and clean; nothing special but nice enough. Rooms have a fridge with freezer and a microwave, which is nice. Rooms do open to the exterior of the hotel, which may be an issue for some people, personally I prefer it. Seems like a nicer 2 star hotel for a decent price. Nasty construction right in the area, (April 2014) but that will be done someday and access will go from difficult to very easy. I’d stay again if the price was right.
