We drove over three hours and arrived very late at night, only to find our first room with dirty footprints on the sheets. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, and while the staff member did move us to another room, the second room had a very foul odor and there were bugs in the bathroom.I returned to the front desk and told the agent that it seemed like the hotel had serious cleanliness issues and that we might just check out. He apologized and asked if we wanted to look at another room. We checked a third room, but when we walked in, the toilet was overflowing and dirty towels were all over the floor. He apologized again and said that room was under maintenance.We were then shown a fourth room, but it also had the same strong odor. At that point, we decided it was best to leave the hotel. We had only been there for about an hour when we left at midnight and drove 30 minutes to another hotel.The next morning, I was told that we’d be refunded for Saturday night, but they’d have to “review the cameras” before refunding Friday night even though we didn’t actually stay. I was promised a call back that day, but no one ever called. I followed up again Sunday morning and was told someone would get back to me right away that was over four hours ago and still no response.The photos online are very misleading the hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It’s in poor condition, smells terrible, and clearly has major cleanliness issues. All I want is my money back!!!
